POLICIES

Rental Policies:

• One form of photo ID is required to rent a unit.
• We require a minimum 15 day notice prior to vacating a unit.
• You will have immediate access to your unit once payments are complete and the lease is executed.
• Gate hours are 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week. Office hours are above. The office is not always open when gate is open. For security reasons, there is no gate access from 8pm - 8am.
• We require notification of any changes in address, phone or contact information. If we receive paperwork sent to your address stating you have moved, your unit is considered abandonded and we may take posession of the contents of your unit.
• Rent at your own risk. We do not carry insurance on the contents of your rental unit.

• We do not invoice or send bills for rental payments.
• Minimum first month's rent is required at the time of signing.
• Payment is through cash or personal checks. We will be allowing credit card payments soon.
• Payments are due the first of each month.
• After 5 days late, you will be automatically be denied access into the gate until payment is received.
• After 10 days late, we will add a $10 late payment charge. All payments must be paid before you have access to the gate.

While we are incredibly flexible regarding what you can store, there are several items not permitted to be stored in the units. If you have any questions, please see the onsite manager during office hours. This list is not meant to be an all inclusive list and is meant to be a general guide to what is not permitted.

• Inflammable or Combustible Materials - these types of materials will pose very real danger to the entire facility and personnel if stored within a unit, not to mention your own stored items if there is an accident. The list of restrictions includes: gas, fuel, fireworks, etc.
• Animals or Animal Products - Storing pets or other animals in the units is not permitted. People have in the past attempted to 'store' their pets in self storage, as they believe they can access them for feeding and care as necessary. This is quite obviously cruel and could result in prosecution. Animal products are also not allowed in self storage as they will attract vermin.
• Illegal or Stolen Goods - No reputable self storage provider will allow you to store illegal or stolen goods on their premises; the same holds true for Paradise Self Storage.
• Firearms - We do not allow for firearms to be stored in the units. Ammunition of any kind is not permitted to be stored.
• Hazardous Materials - We do not allow the storage of hazardous, toxic or chemical materials on site as these items can cause very real damage if they spill of if there is a fire.
